1、Layout of pig farm
A 12-head fattening farm can be handled by one person. But the sparrow is small, all the organs are complete, the farm should include small farrowing house, nursery, fattening, gestation house, due to the small scale, it is not recommended to build their own boar house to raise boars.
In addition, if you consider water supply, power supply, environmental protection, sewage, heating, etc., you have to build boilers, sewage purification equipment, warehouses, storage, water rooms, wells, etc., depending on the local pig farm construction and environmental protection requirements.
1) Farrowing house
Facilities: 4 farrowing beds to accommodate 4 old sows for labor and lactation, geothermal pipes or hot air furnace, water heating pipes, power supply and lighting equipment, heat preservation lamps, heat preservation box, leaky floor.
Specifications and floor space: sow farrowing enclosure 2.2×1.8 meters, each farrowing bed covers 4 ㎡, requiring 16 ㎡; corridors and storage rooms cover 10 ㎡, front and back plus 4 ㎡ of walls, totaling 30 ㎡.
(2) Nursery: can share a room with farrowing house, 3 nursery beds, 2 nursery beds to accommodate the same period of 50 nursery pigs, a spare, other infrastructure can be similar to the farrowing house.
Specification and floor space: 4㎡ for each nursery bed, total 12 ㎡, plus 4 ㎡ for corridor and four walls, total 16 ㎡.
3) Fattening house: a separate room, 3 fattening pens to accommodate 50-60 fat pigs, each pen to accommodate about 15-20 fat pigs, other infrastructure can be similar to farrowing house.
Specification and floor space: 15 ㎡ for each pen, about 45 ㎡ for four, plus 10 ㎡ for corridor and four walls, about 55 ㎡.
(4) Gestation house: positioning pen, cement leakage board, set up 8 limiting pens to accommodate 8 gestating sows at the same time.
Specification and floor space: single pen 70cm clamping, 95cm high, with 40cm behind, each pig occupies 1.5 ㎡, a total of 8 single pens are set up, occupying 12 ㎡, plus 4 square meters of walls and 40cm length of leakage flooring, occupying a total area of about 20 ㎡.
(5) Other layouts: material storage, water room, rest room, pig walkway, doorway and so on.
Summary: The total area of pig farm construction includes farrowing house, nursery, fattening, gestation, utility room, material storage, rest room, etc., which requires about 150 ㎡.
