How much area is needed for pig house

1. Weaned piglets: weight in 4~11kg, each head needs 0.37 square meters, weight in 11--18kg, each head needs 0.56 square meters, each pig pen can be designed and built according to the raising of 10--30 heads.

2. Growing and fattening pigs: weight in 18-45kg, each head needs an area of 0.7 square meters; weight in 45-68kg, each head needs an area of 0.93 square meters; weight in 68-100kg, each head needs an area of 1.12 square meters; each pen can be designed and constructed according to the raising of 10-30 heads: you raise 10 heads, the area of the circle should be 11.2 square meters. If the width is 2.8 meters, the length is 4 meters.

3. Reserve sows: weighing 113-116kg, each head needs an area of 1.4 square meters, and each pen can be designed according to raising 4-12 heads.

4. Empty sows: 1.67 square meters per head.

5. Newborn sows: 1.58 square meters per head.

6. Fertile sows: 1.67 square meters per head. Sows are kept in separate pens, each pen is 2.1m long and 0.6m wide.

7. Boars: one pen per head, pen length 3m, width 2.4m.
